To be able to obtain, interpret and store data related to the field of first and emergency aid in the light of current technologies, to plan and implement the necessary first and emergency aid interventions, to observe professional ethical values during the implementation of each intervention and to protect their own physical health and improve their physical fitness level in order to perform patient care adequately.
To be able to communicate effectively with the patient or victim in order to collect data in pre-hospital emergency care and rescue practices, to initiate appropriate interventions for the data obtained, to assume the role of spokesperson between health professionals and the patient or victim, to work in cooperation with team members and other health disciplines.
To be able to have knowledge about the use of drugs and medical interventions related to the profession in emergency care
To be able to have knowledge about ways to cope with stress related to the profession
Keeping the ambulance ready for use in terms of technical, medical equipment and materials
Knowing infection control methods, taking personal protective measures and ensuring compliance with asepsis-antisepsis rules
To be able to have the ability to use appropriate materials and position the patient or injured during patient transport
To be aware of the legal legislation of the field and the duties, powers and responsibilities within the emergency health system.

To have knowledge about basic vision devices such as glasses, contact lenses and low vision devices (telescopic products, etc.). To be able to give information about the construction and use of special eyeglasses.
To be able to adapt basic vision devices to the user by selection, sale and preparation according to the prescription. To be able to measure the diopter of numbered spectacle lenses and contact lenses and to make the necessary settings for their installation.
To have basic knowledge in the fields of Eye, Eye Anatomy, Eye Physiology, Eye Diseases, Visual Health and General Public Health.
To have sufficient knowledge about basic optical instruments. To be able to use general and professional software programs, hospital automation systems.
To be able to critically evaluate the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field of Opticianry and to exchange ideas with colleagues.
