As the Department of Medical Services and Techniques within the Varto Vocational School of Muş Alparslan University, we aim for a quality approach that prioritizes universal ethical rules, human rights and justice, and offers research and development, education and training, and social services in the light of science, focusing on efficiency and productivity.
There is a quality assurance policy, it has been prepared by taking the opinions of stakeholders. The policy is known and shared by the institution's employees. The policy document is simple, concrete and realistic. It describes the sustainable quality assurance system in its main lines. The management style, structure, basic mechanisms, central structure and access to units of quality assurance are explained. Similarly, there are education and training (including distance education), research and development, social contribution, management system and internationalization policies and they carry the features listed for quality assurance policy. These policy statements have concrete results and effects reflected in practices; examples can be presented.
The biggest obstacle for our school to achieve its mission, vision and goals is the lack of a physical space belonging to our school and accordingly, the limited application areas and development. In this context, it is thought that after the steps taken and will be taken by our University towards the development of the physical infrastructure of our school, our school will display a stance that especially prioritizes the development of the region in line with its mission, vision and goals, institutional stance, priorities and preferences.
In line with the current conditions, it is aimed to actively include our school's stakeholders in the process with the external stakeholder opinion and satisfaction survey, academic staff satisfaction survey and student satisfaction survey, which are developed and implemented in order to determine the opinions and suggestions of internal and external stakeholders in order to direct education and training in cooperation with all stakeholders included in the mission of our school.
Our social responsibility activities, developed and implemented in line with our mission of being respectful to people, society and nature, have started to make a splash in our region. In addition, in line with our goal of training intermediate staff with high professional skills, our students are provided with the opportunity to see and experience the application field through visits made to our external stakeholders determined for employment areas through our advisors. Thanks to the good relations established, our students' internship opportunities and opportunities increase, they are included in the application field while they are still students and even employed. In this way, it is aimed for our school's priorities and preferences to become a sustainable culture in line with our school's mission, vision and goals.
